Revealing The Anti-christ

The Anti – Christ The anti – Christ is a man who comes to world power in the end times. After the rapture of the church, there will be a world leader who will make a peace treaty with the Nation of Israel. In Daniel 8:25 he is described as one who shall destroy many through peace. According to Daniel 9:26 and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The people that destroyed the Jewish temple in 70 AD were the Romans. The prince in this verse is a reference to the coming anti-christ. This tells us that the prince and the people are related or they are of the same nationality. The anti-christ will be of Roman origin. Daniel 9:27 goes on to tell us that: He, the prince, the anti-christ shall confirm a covenant with many of the Jews for one week, or seven years, the time period of the tribulation, and in the middle of the seven year covenant he will break the covenant, stop the Jewish sacrifice and demand to be called God, this is called the abomination of desolation. Daniel 11:37 establishes the fact that the anti-christ will be a Gentile and not a Jew, for it reads: he shall not regard the gods {heathen deities} of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. This verse tells us that he will not regard or worship the Jewish Jehovah, God. In the epistle of Paul to the Thessalonians he confirms what was recorded by the prophet Daniel and said: Let no man deceive you by ant means, for that day shall not come except that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition: who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called god, or that is worshiped; so that he as god sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is god. Here we have a picture of the anti-christ sitting in the temple in Jerusalem demanding to be worshiped as God. Paul goes on to say: Then shall that wicket one be revealed {in God’s timing} whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming. Only the Lord Jesus the Christ will have the power to defeat the anti-christ. There is a great mistake in identity found in Revelation 6:2 which reads. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given him; and he went forth conquering and to conquer. Most people identify the rider on this horse as Jesus the Christ, but the fact is that this is a picture of the anti-christ coming to power at the beginning of the tribulation. This cannot be Christ for the rider is given a temporary victor’s crown, whereas Jesus is pictured wearing many crowns as King at His second coming. Jesus is pictured carrying a sword not a bow. Jesus Christ will come at the end of the tribulation and will bring peace, the rider before us appears at the beginning of the tribulation bring destruction. In the book of Revelation chapter 11 we read about two prophets that will minister during the first half of the tribulation. Verse 7 tells us: when they, the two prophets, shall have finished their testimony, ministry, the beast that ascended out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them and kill them. Here the anti-christ is referred to as the beast. This is a very ferocious individual. We are told in Revelation 13:4 and they { humanity} worshiped the dragon {Satan} which gave power to the beast; and the worshiped the beast, saying, who is like to the beast? Who is able to make war with him? Satan offered Jesus this same power in Luke 4:5,6 And the devil taking Jesus up into a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, all this power would I give You, and the glory of them; for this is delivered to me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. Jesus turned it down, anti-christ will accept it. And power was given unto him to continue forty and two months, or three and one half years. The exact time of the tribulation. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints of the tribulation {it is possible to get saved during the tribulation but it may cost you your life} and he overcame them; and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nation. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, except those whose names are written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. The anti-christ will rule the world during that period of time called the tribulation. The bible goes on to tell us that the anti-christ is going to cause all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads; that no man might buy or sell except he has the mark, or the number of the beast, or the number of his name. The mark, possibly a small computer chip placed just under the skin that can be read by a super market scanner. We are told to count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred threescore and six, or 666.This is also called the mark of the beast. No one knows the name of the anti-christ, but we do know that whatever his name is it will have a numerical value of 666. What will be the fate of this evil villain? We are told in the Revelation 19:20 And the beast, or, anti-christ was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and that worshiped his image. They both were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. Amen. Spoken Word In Prayer By The Spirit

Jehovah Revealed In Psalms 23

In Psalm 23 we can see 7 names of the Lord God Jehovah revealed. I am sure that when David wrote this Psalm he was aware of these 7 names of Jehovah, for he was a man that faithfully sought his God; he was a man after God’s own heart. The Psalm starts out by saying; “ The Lord is my shepherd, this word shepherd is translated Raha. David is saying Jehovah is my Raha, my shepherd. This word Raha is defined; to associate with, to be a companion to, and, to be a special friend. This is a perfect picture of Jesus and His twelve disciples. He associated with them, He was their companion, and He finally called them friends. Jehovah Raha, our Shepherd, our associate, our Companion, our Friend. The psalm reads; “ The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want, lack. This brings us to the second name of God, Jehovah Jire, translated the lord will provide. Abraham called the place where God provided the substitute ram that Abraham might spare Isaac, Jehovah Jire, as the Lord sees, He provides. David declared in Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now I am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor their seed begging bread. The Psalm reads; “ He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me besides quit waters. Our Shepherd is Jehovah Shalom, our peace. The quit waters is a place of peace. We find in 2 Samuel 7:1 that God gave David rest and peace from all his enemies. Jesus told His disciples in John 14:27, “ Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you. Through Jehovah Shalom we have peace with God, and the peace of God. The Psalm reads,” He restores my soul, or He renews my life. Now Jehovah Rapha is revealed unto us, our healer. In Exodus 15:26 God says;” If you will diligent hearken to the voice of the Lord your God, and will do that which is right in His sight, and will give ear to His statures. I will not put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that heals you. Jesus lived and walked with the disciples for over three years and they were never sick, He was and is Jehovah Rapha our healer. The Psalm reads,” He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake. Jehovah Tsidkeneu, the Lord our righteousness. We learn through Jeremiah 33:15,16 “ In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness {Jesus Christ} to grow up to David; and He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely; and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord Our Righteousness. We are the righteousness of God, because of Christ Jesus. The Psalm reads, “ Yea though I walk through the darkest valley I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Now we see the Lord our Shepherd as Jehovah Nissi, our banner, our victor, our protector. We learn from Moses in Exodus 17:15,16 “ and Moses built an alter, and called the name of it Jehovah Nissi, for he said because the Lord has sworn that the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. It is God that gives us the victory. 2 Chronicles 20 15 tells us,” Be not afraid nor be dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. The Psalm reads, “ You anoints my head with oil. When anyone was anointed with oil they were set apart for God’s use, or sanctified, This setting apart reveals to our Shepherd as Jehovah Kawdash. We learn from 1 Peter 1:2 that we were Chosen and elected according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Holy Spirit. Every person in the body of Christ is set apart, sanctified to do something for God. Bernard A. Jones Brobern737@bellsouth.net

Renewed By The Spirit

Not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to His own mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration {new birth}, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Titus 3:5 When the trials of life beat us down, it is the work of the Holy Spirit which gives strength and newness of life…..It is recorded in Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the faint; and to them which have no might He increases strength. Verse thirty says that even the youth shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall… In our own power even if we are young the trials and problems of life can overpower us. But they that wait or trust in the lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not get weary, and they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 Only when we wait or trust in the Lord for our strength will we gain strength. Everything that we need is found in the Lord…. In Psalms 51: 10 it is recorded: Create in me a clean heart O God; and renew a right spirit within me, David was torn down because of his error, but he was wise enough to ask the Lord to build him up, David ask the Lord to rebuild in his life… The bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 4:16 that though our outward man perish {we get older day by day}, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. This is the work of the Spirit of the living God working in our lives; trust Him to build you up. We are admonished in Ephesians 4:23 to be renewed in the spirit if your mind and to put on the new man which God created in righteousness and true holiness, God created the old man, this is you before you were born again, and God created the new man, the regenerated you that is born again, your soul and spirit. When we put the word of God in our hearts and mind we give Him the tool to renew our minds. We will find ourselves being led by the Holy Spirit and not by our fleshly minds…. In Colossians 3:10 we learn that when we put on the new man{ walk and live in the Spirit} we find ourselves in the process of being renewed and remolded into the knowledge and into the image of Him that created us. If the trials and problems of life has disrupted your life, fill yourself with prayer and the word of God and watch the Holy Spirit renew your strength, be ready to mount up with wings of eagles, be ready to run and not faint as you wait and serve the Lord with gladness...Bernard Jones Ministries………brobern737@bellsouth,net

From Deliverance To Holiness

Deliverance is a purely act of God. The word deliverance means: To be set free, to be rescued from harm or danger. How can the bound be set free? Since God is the only source of freedom, we are forced to seek the answer in the word of God. We find in the Gospel of Luke 4:18 that Jesus was sent to preach Deliverance to the captives. Lets us discover who or what is binding and holding the people captive. We find in the word of God where the Apostle Paul reveals his conversion on the road to Damascus where he was commission to preach the gospel, was told by Jesus: I am sending you to the Gentiles, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan into God. Now we know who and what has and is binding the people, keeping them in darkness of which Satan is ruler. For we wrestle not against the flesh and blood of people, but against principalities, against the powers of Satan, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. How can the bound get free? The bible says that: If the Son, Jesus Christ set you free, you shall be free indeed. The word of God tells us that God has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light; He has delivered us from the power of Satan and darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Now we have two types of people in on earth. The saints that has been delivered from the power of Satan, and the unregenerated who remain under Satan dominion. This is a very clear statement in the word of God as Paul tells the Ephesian Church that there was a time when they themselves walked and lived according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air {Satan], the spirit that Now works in the children {unregenerated] of disobedience. How does Satan successful keep the people bound? The word declares; For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is if the world, whom Satan is prince. Satan feeds the lust of the eyes. The eyes of man are never satisfied. Everything that he sees he wants. Another car, another house, more clothes, another watch, another ring. The lust of the flesh. The world has gone mad with lust of the flesh. Man wants someone’s girlfriend, someone’s wife. Men want other men, women want other women, children are not safe in the world that we live in today because of the lust of the flesh. Now we come to the pride of life. We live in a world where people have their confidence in their own ability. They think that they can get alone well in life without God. They put their stability in earthly things, the works of their hands. Satan feeds mans ego and his lust whereby keeping them bound and in bondage to himself. There is no freedom except they cry out to God for deliverance. It is God that delivers from the power of the darkness of Satan’s’ kingdom and translates us into His glorious kingdom. The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers. Nor coveters, nor drunkards shall inherit the kingdom of God. but such were some of you before your salvation; but now you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. God brings about this deliverance in the lives of humanity for the purpose of serving Him in the spirit of holiness. For He said;” Be you holy, for I am holy.” We are told to come out from among them, and be you separate, said the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And I will be a Father unto you, and you shall be My son and daughters, said the Lord Almighty. We are told in God’s word that He chastises us that we might be partakers of His holiness. Sanctification and holiness is God’s plans for the believers. We are further told, strip yourselves of your former nature, put off and discard your old unrenewed self, which characterized your previous manner of life that was corrupt through lust, and be consistently renewed in the spirit of your mind. Put on the new nature, the regenerated self, created in God’s image, and likeness, in true righteousness and holiness. Let us perfect holiness in the fear of God. Do You Really Know Jesus Christ?

In order to know Jesus Christ you first need to know that in the bible He is referred to by many names because He fulfills many roles in the lives of humanity. In Saint John chapter 1 He, Jesus is referred to by 14 different names. In the complete bible He is referred to by more that 75 names. The first name that is used in Saint John is, The Word. This reference teaches us the pre- existence of Jesus Christ. He was in the beginning with God, and He was and is God. Jesus declared of Himself in John 17:5, Father glorify Me with your own self with the glory that I had with you before the world was. Jesus is saying that He had fellowship with the Father when there was nothing, but God. The bible tells us in Philippians 2:6, 7 that Jesus being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, made Himself of no reputation and took on the form of a servant. In His pre-existence, He was in the form of God {totally spirit} through the incarnation, or being placed in the womb of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit, He took on the form of a servant, a man. Colossians 1:15-17 tells us that Jesus in the image of the invisible God, by Him, Jesus, all things were created. {see also Ephesians 3:9} And that Jesus is before all things, and by Him all things consist, or are held together. The bible clearly calls Jesus God. We read in Hebrews 1:7, 8 Referring to the angels, He, God says, Who makes His angels spirits, and His ministering servants flames of fire. But as to the Son, He, God says, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of absolute righteousness. {Ampf} God the Father calls Jesus the Son, God. The prophet Isaiah prophesied the coming of the Lord declared, "For unto us a Child is born, a Son is given, the government shall be on His shoulders, His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God,” Isaiah 9:6...Matthew 1:23 states, Behold, a virgin shall be with Child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is being interpreted is, God with us. The bible predicted the coming of Jesus the Son of God into the world as a man in Genesis 3:15. He is the seed of the woman, fulfilled in Galatians 4:4 in the fullness of time God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, He is God, and He is man. In 1 Corinthians 15:45-47 He is called the last Adam, He was a man just like the first Adam, yet without sin. In 1 Timothy 2:5 it is declared; there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. What was His mission? Luke 19:10, For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. 1 John 3:8 For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Hebrews 2:14 For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil.
